Welcome to MBO
In 2016, the Mongol Bilig Oyun School and Kindergarten Complex was established in response to requests from residents of the town and nearby areas in the Khan-Uul district, 15th khoroo, Marshal Town of Great Mongol Street. The school aims to meet international standards for education and can accommodate over 1,000 students in 40 classes and groups.
The complex is located in a green zone close to the city center and occupies a total land area of 6,960 square meters. When the buildings were constructed in 2016, all education levels were conducted in the same building with a total area of 5,292 square meters.
During the first academic year of 2016-2017, the school had 522 learners in 25 classes from grade 1 to 12 with 58 teachers and staff. The kindergarten had 10 classes with 207 children aged between 2-5 and 21 teachers.
In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school expanded by constructing a building of 5,292 square meters with 830 learners from grades 1-12 in 35 classes and 77 dedicated teachers and staff. The school building includes a gym, a library, 41 classrooms, 5 fully equipped science laboratories (including chemistry, physics, biology, and IT labs), 12 restrooms, a professional development room for teachers, and a fully equipped cafeteria. A professional food technologist leads the team of cafeteria and provides healthy food and lunch, and a professional pediatrician takes care of the learners’ daily health.
The kindergarten also expanded its building to 1,069 square meters with 270 children aged between 2 to 5 in 11 classes and 31 teachers and staff.
The Cambridge International Curriculum is offered at the school and includes a combination of the Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum. The department of methodology and training operates and leads the teachers, and extracurricular activities are based on the learners’ choice and needs (such as art clubs like Horse-headed riddle, Song and Dance club, and sports clubs like chess and checkers). The curriculum focuses on developing learners’ lifelong learning skills and ability to create knowledge, with a main feature of focusing on problem-solving skills, team collaboration, applying new technologies, and making decisions using academic knowledge. The school has a skilled and professional team of educators who serve the children.
